 George Dennis

George DennisGeorge was first introduced to salsa in 2002 while serving in the United States Army. It was in 2004 when he realized Salsa would make a significant impact on his life and the life of others. While serving in Iraq, he was asked to teach Salsa, Merengue and Bachata to the troops and civilian workers.  At the end of his tour, George relocated to the Philadelphia area and began to pursue dance more seriously.

One of the most sought after male dancers in the Tri-state area, George instructs and choreographs partner and group routines to children, teens and adults.

His smooth style, intricate patterns and footwork have made heads turn and take notice. His charisma combined with his effective, dynamic teaching techniques has helped him preserve his students and magnetize new ones. George is recognized among his students to be one of the most patient and compassionate instructors.

Although Salsa is his first love, George enjoys teaching and performing other forms of dance. George has also trained in Ballroom and Belly Dancing. During the school year, he participates in a program that is featured in the movie Mad Hot Ballroom. As one of the pioneers of Dancing Classrooms Philly, George teaches ballroom to elementary students in Philadelphia as a vehicle to build social awareness, confidence and self-esteem. He is currently one of the featured performers at the Cuba Libre Restaurant and teaches at different locations throughout the Philadelphia and New Jersey area.

By 2009, George's motivation led to become the founder of Mambodelphia LLC. Through his company George passes on the knowledge that he has received through his many experiences in dance and in life.

George is also a full-time dance teacher for John B.Stetson Middle School and is currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Vocational Education at Temple Universit

Jacki Rozzo

Jacki began dancing in 1998 in Orlando, Florida, during the swing dance revival.  She began with East Coast swing then later took up lindy hop and blues dancing in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  She eventually started teaching blues dancing and body movement, as well as DJing blues, at various dance events in the U.S.

In August 2003, Jacki participated in a Lindy Hop dance marathon to beat the world record for the longest dance party.  Upon meeting a salsa dancer at this event, Jacki started dancing salsa on1, but through her travels to salsa congresses she quickly found that she preferred dancing on2.  In May 2005, Jacki moved to Orlando, Florida, where she performed on the Salsa Heat professional team and taught weekly classes.  She met George Dennis, founder of Mambodelphia, in 2008 less than a year after moving to New Jersey.  She and George have a great connection and a mutual passion for dancing on2, so she has been teaching and performing with him since meeting him.
